The Summer EBT Program Application time has been extended to October 15! We are reaching out to remind you that families that qualify for Summer EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) benefits this year based on your participation in the free and reduced-priced meals program during the 2023-24 school year. This program provides $120 in grocery assistance during the summer months when school meals are not available for income-eligible students to receive free and reduced-priced meals at school. To receive these benefits, you must create an account with the Department of Children and Families and apply for the SEBT. The 8th graders built rockets and launched them on September 25, 2024. All the rockets were able to launch successfully. Students will use what they now know about the experience to learn about motion, force and Newton's Laws in the future.

Stockton JH Stuco officers strengthened their leadership skills at the Kansas Regional Stuco Conference in Colby. A’ric Jackson delivered an incredible message to our student-leaders in Kansas. Two types of limitations put on you.

SHS FCCLA members attended KS District B FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference on October 2 at Ellis High School. Members participated in sessions including national officers, state and district officers as well as the Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety peer education team.

Mrs. Keslers 2nd graders took a very educational field trip to the Kansas Aviation Tour at Rooks County Airport this morning learning about all the opportunities in aviation.
